MacWorld?

Hey, could you guys explain to me how this macworld works? I understand that its tomorrow, but how long does it run for? Trying to figure out if they will be releasing a firmware update before i sell the iphone. Im just a bit confused how this works. Does Apple present like Monday and Tuesday and the other companies have the other days? Sorry for my noobness on this topic, never figured out how this works.
